Senior Centers Inc. offers a variety of supportive services to help senior citizens remain independent and stay informed on services in the community.  Information can be provided on housing, HEAP and other energy assistance programs, Medicare and Medicaid, Golden Buckeye cards, Electric bills, TARTA free bus passes and TARPS.

     Health screenings are also provided at Senior Center, Inc.   Reputable community health care professionals are available on a regular basis for, blood pressure checks, glaucoma screenings, hearing tests, blood sugar/cholesterol checks and foot care.

      A hot, nutritious meal is served on a daily basis, Monday through Friday, at 11:30 AM.   The meal is offered by the Lucas County Senior Nutrition Program, which is funded through the Area Office on Aging.   A donation from the senior is suggested to help offset the cost of the meal.

      Senior Centers, Inc. publishes a monthly newsletter to inform the community of the Center's many programs and services.  Daily activities are listed as well as special events and informational articles.  The newsletter is available at the Senior Center and is distributed to local senior housing complexes free of charge.   Personal home delivery may be arranged for a nominal fee.
